Today we’re taking a trip to my hometown: Katy, TX for a look at the Bowery House and Gardens at 7 Oaks. The 7 Oak trees on the property give it historic charm as the condition for building the 10-acre land for commercial use is that the oak trees would remain. While our last stop is unique to the Museum District, and our previous venue tours so far have also featured North Houston, this special gem is out west in Kay, TX.

Another great feature I’m always a fan of is the ability to bring in outside catering. No matter your pallet, you can hand-pick the culinary artist for your event at The Bowery House. There is a kitchen space available so your catering team can bring in prepared options or cook on site.

How much time does this venue allow for set up?

At the Bowery House and Gardens, there are 3 hours allowed for the venue set up and 1 hour for breakdown included in your rental time. If you will need additional time to set up for your event, additional time is available as an add-on.

They also provide plenty of tables and chairs for both reception and cocktail hour, whether you host your event indoors or outdoors. And speaking of deciding on indoors or outdoors- you have the opportunity to have so many more scenes in the background of your photos at the Bowery House.

You can have a rooftop wedding, a cocktail hour surrounded by strung lights and oak trees, and a reception in a room with windows on 3 sides that will make you feel like you’ve escaped into an enchanted forest.
